Clairaudience

Another psychic power that is allied with clairvoyance is clairaudience, which means hearing clearly. Although both the powers appear to overlap each other, they are as distinct as the physical senses of seeing and hearing. It is like seeing a child cry (clairvoyance) and hearing his or her cries (clairaudience). Both these powers complement each other to formulate a whole picture.

Sometimes, it is the voice of a person or the sound from a situation that only matters. For example, a subject may report that he hears strange voices the moment he enters his apartment. It is here that the power of clairaudience plays an important role in diagnosing the problem and suggesting a solution.

It should, however, be noted that the hearing does not take place by the physical ears of the psychic. He hears with his inner ears, which are a part of his sixth sense.
